Unleashing Creativity: Epic Star Wars Droid Animation Produced with Clip Studio Paint
Tonight I finished a new animation that is Star Wars inspired but focused on how to make parallax effects. I think it turned out pretty good with the help of numerous YouTube videos out there to help me understand what I was doing. I used a painting that I had finished last month to use as a background and play with the parallax effect.
Parallax effect
Parallax is basically the illusion of an illustrated environment moving in such a way that it appears to be 3D. Parallax uses perspective concepts and when done correctly makes the different planes of a video appear to be moving. Anything up close moves fast and anything back behind, moves slower in simple terms.
