Concept Art Technique
Saving time by working efficiently will pay dividends in the long run. I’ve been studying how to improve my speed as an artist and one of the most effective ways is to create a component of everything that you want to use. For example, I might design a lamp post that I want to use in a city scene before I make the city scene itself. This technique lends itself to allow for more consistency with shape language and design allowing the lamps to look like they all belong to the same city.
