Here are my completed images for my fantasy Christmas holiday world. I used Clip Studio Paint and Sketchbook Pro to draw and color these images. I picked the best four to make a collage with using Canva tool put them together into a pleasing design which I then exported as a GIF.

Christmas Elf Design

This is an image of the Christmas Elf design that was used to create my previous image. This was the conceptual design pose that I used to create a character component. The component can now be copied / pasted wherever I need him.

Christmas Elf

#Christmas elf is walking through the #candy cane wasteland through the night. Eerily lit by a green glow, he walks through to the other side. Another version of the candy cane wasteland was posted the other night. This is another design concept for my Christmas Elf world inspired by everyone’s favorite #holiday.

Candy Cane Elven Outlands

Candy Cane Elven Outlands is an Elven Location part of my Christmas Elf series I am working on. It’s a place full of well, you know…candy canes. This design is a concept art piece designed to show alternative locations in a fantasy style Christmas world. #christmas, #elf, #candy, #jeffreyhuntart, #clipstudiopaint

Water Maiden

Tonight’s #digitalart is a water #maiden who lives in an old abandoned #pirate cove long forgotton. #clipstudiopaint was used to design this 20 layer digital #painting. #wondersharefilmora was used to finish the piece into this #beautiful #syfy scene video.

Battle Ork! Wargh!

This video was inspired by the world of #warhammer40k. As a child I used to buy and paint the miniatures and grew to love the Warhammer universe. Even today, I play many of the games and still read the White Drawf magazines when I find them. This piece was designed using #clipstudiopaint and #blender. I used 25 layers in the digital image combining different blending layers along the way. Blender was used to add some wonderful effects and #wondershare added even more. I hope you enjoy the video. Please like and subscribe if you enjoyed it or even if you didn’t. 🙂

Concept Art Idea Book 2

The Concept Art Idea Book 2 has finally been published. It’s been almost a year since I started working on my book. I’ve had some recent posts about my progress over the past few months. There were days when I had to take short breaks and there were days when I took some longer ones. There is nothing better though than the feeling you get when you can say that you are all done.

How I used Clip Studio Paint and Blender to create an animated video (1st YouTube Tutorial)

The tutorial has both the video screen captures from Clip Studio Paint so you can watch me draw and it on screen video capture from within Blender so that the process is more understandable. I am a little nervous when speaking publicly but this took it to a whole new level. Next time I’ll practice what I’m going to say more but the final project does sound pretty genuine which is what I was going for.

Forest Witch

The design is about 40 layers most of which are corrections and refinements that I made as I went back over during the polishing stage. I just paint over areas I’m not happy with and use another layer. Don’t judge. Each to their own right?

The Wood Witch YouTube Video

Just uploaded my next video on YouTube. It’s a combination of an illustration made using Clip Studio Paint and Blender. As an artist, it’s very important to utilize all of the tools out there…and boy are there a lot. Blender and Clip Studio Paint work very well together in that you can start a project in one application and finish it up in another. Most folks I know create grey boxes in Blender, export them, and then import them into their favorite drawing program where they create their final illustration.
